Westport and Weston have often been called the Beverly Hills of the East, a star-spangled community of Broadway and Hollywood luminaries. Stage and screen performers have sought out and settled in this area for decades, and this devotion to the performing arts is strong and broadly popular. The Westport Country Playhouse remains America’s foremost summer theater, and the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts hosts nightly entertainment free-of-charge.
